STEEL FABRICATION

The steel fabrication division started in 1977 and has grown to become a leader in the steel fabrication industry of Abu Dhabi. The division currently completed a very complicated steel fabrication project in Al Wathba in Abu Dhabi and have completed many steel sheds in the Musaffah Area including those of Abu Dhabi Ship Building as well as the whole ESNAAD complex in Musaffah. The capacity is 15 tons of fabricated steel per day. Square’s steel fabrication division is currently going through a production efficiency exercise to further increase our production capacity. From the design side Square has invested heavily in new software that would allow shop drawings to be made available to the production team faster and thus increase the production capacity of existing facilities.

The steel fabrication division has also successfully turned a 780 ton spud barge into a crawling back-hoe dredger fitted with a 127 ton excavator capable of reaching depths of 18 meters.

The division specializes in the fabrication of all kinds of steel works such as steel structures, buildings, heavy columns, tresses, rafters and all kinds of steel works. We also produce our own machinery, this is especially useful for our precast division. There are 70 employees currently employed at our yard.

Square Steel Fabrication has the competitive advantage over other companies in the steel fabrication industry because of the experienced team of designers, fabricators and welders as well as all the supporting facilities for fabrication, erection and commissioning of steel structural and decorative elements, that is employed at our facilities in Mussafah.

This division has worked with a variety of clients throughout the years including ADSB, The Department of Presidential Affairs and ESNAAD.
